History

Rocky Mountain Recycling, Inc. has been in continuous operation at the corner of 64th Ave. and Brighton Blvd in Commerce City since 1936. We buy and recycle all scrap metals including copper, aluminum, brass, stainless steel, zinc, aluminum cans, lead, and all types of iron and ferrous metals. Our goals are to pay a fair price while providing the highest possible level of customer satisfaction.

Our 2 major pieces of processing equipment are a two-ram Harris Baler and a Vezzani Guillotine Shear. We also operate 4 portable shears, two of which exert over 1,000 tons of shearing pressure for processing I-beams and other demolition scrap metal. We use hydraulic cranes to unload trucks, feed equipment, and load prepared recycled metals for shipment.

We serve the recycling needs of hundreds of industrial accounts throughout the front range, the plains, and mountains surrounding the Denver metropolitan area. We operate a fleet of over 30 large capacity trailers to meet the needs of the demolition industry. At Rocky Mountain Recycling, Inc. it is our people that set us apart. We have the friendliest, highly trained, group of recycling specialists in Colorado. Our commitment to customer satisfaction, safety, quality and productivity is unmatched in the Front Range.
